Photography is a great way to appreciate the natural world. I especially love wildlife and floral photography.
I have kayaked since 2016 on rivers across Scotland, the French Alps, and the Eastern USA. My favourite rivers include the Etive and South Esk in Scotland, and the Guil and Guisane in France.
Being from the Tweed Valley, the spiritual home of British biking, I have mountain biked from an early age. I especially love the trails in Glentress, where I have helped build new trails since 2013.
I enjoy art as a way of celebrating the beauty of geology. This includes through watercolours and photography. I especially enjoy drawing and creating maps, both real and imaginery.
After completing six expeditions during my DofE Award, my field and I enjoyed them so much that we kept organising them. This includes walking from Blair Athol to Aviemore over four Munroes, from Achnashellach to Achmelvich over five mountains, and four days climbing eight Munroes in Glen Coe.
I learned to ski in Scotland, and have enjoyed multiple trips across the French Alps.
